Notes From a Battleground State: Junior Edition

A classmate of my daughter’s told her (yes, even second-graders are talking politics) that his neighbor has a McCain/ Palin sign in his yard, with a twist. The neighbor likes McCain but hates Palin, so crossed out her name from the sign. Heh.

    Overheard on the L this morning:
    Mom: “I’m voting for Obama. He’s my man.”
    Son (four years old): “I’m voting for Obama too!”
    Mom: “You can’t vote, you’re too young. They don’t let kids vote.”
    Son: “That’s not fair!”
